Theme: Mining for the treasures of God!
Set: A gold mine deep in the forest. Set up a mining cave using black plastic from a hardware store. Set up trees, shrubs,
a small cottage, etc.
Characters:
Leader: Leads the lesson each week.
Miners: They work the mine in search of treasure and uncover a treasure of God each week. Each miner will select a descriptive
name like dopey, or sneezy, etc.
Old grumpy miner: Grumpy wants the treasure all for himself and doesn't realize God is our treasure.
Jean Claude the great jewel caper: Puppet who steals the "treasure verse" each week. He is the great great grandson
of One Eyed Will the memory verse bandit.
