Literacy Activities

* Color code nouns blue and verbs green. Project silly sentences on the overhead or smartboard and have children circle nouns in blue and verbs in green.

Math Activities

Science and Social Studies Connections

* Practice color mixing with frosting in yellow, blue, and red. After mixing a variety of different colors, spread the frosting on graham crackers and enjoy a nice snack.

* Go on a color hunt in nature. Sort/Classify items collected by color. The world is full of color!
